Welcome all,
I started this site to help others get into the outdoors near their homes. I wanted to make the information available in an easily navigated format and to inspire people with lots of content and photos. Also I wanted this site to provide a community for those interested in the outdoors and to educate people about what they'll find
Building the site has been simpler then I initially thought it would be, although a fair amount of time went into learning PHP, mySQL and some reasonably advanced HTML.
Future developments for the site will include the ability to add tracks, comment on individual pages and more "How To" type pages.
